Woman in engineering

Today, me and ang ser li went for this women in engineering talk held by NUS at ishop in orchard cineleisure. Chai su wi was suppose to go but she cant so i became chai suwi. Anyways the talk was like not exactly what i expected. It was more interesting then i tot. Originally, I tot that it was going to be like a super long and boring tok for 3 hours!!! But it was not, The talking part was rather short. and there were like games that ppl get so excited over it ha. The game was like mcq question related to science and some not really. The ppl there like dam smart.The highest point was 200 plus i think and the lowest is like - sth.(wrong -10). I group got like 40 sth? 50 sth? 60 sth? cant remember. Anyways, I don't even know a single ans la! so retarded. Thens, got the refreshment thing, ppl are so terrible la! eat already still want take again until the plate all almost empty!! I must say sth I am not one of them. (IS REALLY THE TRUTH!!!) ha. The talk got shou huo so not bad. They gib us alot thing!! O and my group like won a prize during the bonus question round. The prize not bad, it cost 39.90( stupid one lor use marker cancel price but still can see). Even though it is quite ex, the thing is quite useless. I think the thing like for putting phone or sth. Poor Chai su wi, I got good stuff. ha. In conclusion I wish to say sth: PPL PLS DON JOIN ENGINEERING!!! PLS DON'T! SERIOUSLY DON'T!! [ so i can go in =) ]

Health

I have no idea why but it seems that today I have become so health conscious!! I have hated running like all my life and for the 1st time, I actually wanted to go RUN!!!! Even more maded is that I ran 2.8km!!!! I was so amazed by myself that i took 19 mins and 1s to finish running! I could have run faster de lor!! Thanks to the stupid stomach out of sudden pain during the 3rd lap, which cause me to like jog super ultra duper slow!!!! Thankfully, I have the peseverence to carry on despite the pain and during the 4th lap the pain seems to be gone!! yay!!! After the run, there was a sense of satisfaction and I feel so much heatlthier!! Running isn't that bad afterall. ha. I have set a target for myself and that is to run 3.2km the next round(if there's a next round).

3 Things

Today there are 3 incidents to report! Firstly is Marcus and Charles birthday! Secondly is Maths lecture and lastly chem tutorial.

Charles and Marcus birthday:
Today, is both charles and marcus birthday and sadly mad ppl go make them. Charles GOT THROWN INTO THE POND!!!! O MY!! ppl are like mad la they seriously threw him inside and he's like all wet. Thens, mad ppl buy 2 small cakes just to smash them into Marcus and Charles faces!! SO WASTE CAKE!! haiz.... Thens, there is like 17 and half years old of candles place on the cake cos Charles 18 and Marcus 17 so the average is 17 half. ha dams crap. Oo and Marcus got APPLES as his present!

Maths Lecture:
Today is like the 1st time I paid attention to that teacher lesson (I forgot his name!!!) Anyways,I just realised that he is super retarded. This may sound offending but SERIOUSLY I MEAN NO HARM. He's kind of retarded in a good way cos his retardation results in laughter and thus provides the ability to stay awake(but i have no idea why i sleep during his past lectures, dam wierd). Overall, I think he's quite a good teacher. ha.

Chem tutorial:
Something like so random happen during tutorial. I started a conversation with MYSELF!!! Ha is dam stupid, like thos cartoon devil(d) talking to angel(a) type of conversation.
d: Why am I in JC!!! I don't even understand a single shit!! everything is like complicated! I don't want study le!

NDP!!!

9 Aug 2007 was Singapore's birthday!!! In order to be part of the celebration I joined the open umbrella thing with Ang Ser, Choi Su, Yan Shan, Jia Hao and Ming Sheng ( hmm.. ok i have to admit is more for the goodies bag. ha) and became part of the LARGEST HUMAN SINGAPORE FLAG!!!!

As kiasu Singaporeans we decided to go there at 1 and eat lunch 1st although the gate open at 3 and close at 430. As usual I am always super punctual and they are always late!!! haiz.. make me wait for them again!! ha. As we walked to eat lunch, to my horror, there was ppl like queing at the gate there liaoz!!!! and that was only like 1 PLUS!!!!! SINGAPOREANS ARE COMPLETELY KIASU!!!

After eats, the queue was like SUPER LONG le!!!! and it WASN'T EVEN 3 YET!! The thing was so messy la, we had no idea where we should be going. So, we anyhow just follow. Then out of sudden got this SISEU come out!! And they like go somewhere else!! Then we was like wondering are we suppose to find our group ( NTUC) or sth. Then this Ang ser started shouting NTUC!!! Dams lame la. In the end we just squeezed with the crowd into the place.

After rotting under the sun for some time, we had a few rehersals of the open umbrella thing. Then got the real one. After thats we stayed and watch the NDP thingy. The fireworks was SUPER NICE!!!!( but the stupid tree blocked the view. haiz..) Something disgusted me was that ppl are so not litter free. Despite being told not to litter, they still leave their rubbish on the floor. haiz.

After the thing end, the place was super crowded. The MRT station was like flooded, so that have to limit the amount of ppl going in. This reaulted in me and Jia hao getting separated from the rest!! =( After reuniting, we meet up with Chuan yue, Charles and Jason to makan.(chuan yue gone). After eating it was like only 10 so we go play arcade but all closing le. sobz... I don wan go home!!! but have no choice!!! hai... =(

Mystery

Today I just realise i am so GU LUO GUA WEN(shld be correct to use this words right. ha). In my whole entire 16 plus plus years living on this Earth, it is the 1ST TIME I EVER SAW A RAMBUTAN TREE!! It's so amazing la. I saw it likes near the prata place. I also saw sugar cane tree, papaya, yam! So interesting near houses also have such thing! Ha I think I am seriously noob! Another interesting I found out is that those wild trees at the side of expressway are actually bannana trees, tapioca trees, sugarcane!!!! All this while i din't even bother to look at them, I thought they were just some rubbish trees!!! Then my mother told me last time those trees belong to a farm, but the farm was gone and the trees were left behind! That's like so interesting! ha.

How?!!! HELP!

Today I just realised how imp't the block test was. (Abit lag but cant be helped brain pentium 1 onlyz.) This discovery was made after getting back the chem test paper. I kinda start to worry about my chance of getting promoted. SERIOUSLY CANNOT RETAIN!! If I am not wrong H2 nid to have 2 passes, 1 sub pass, gp pass, and h1 subpass to promote! How on earth is that possible!!!! I got like SSUUUC! Initally, I tot I could get like around 60 for the Chem test cos like alot of the ans sounds logical and should be correct. To my horror I passed on the dot!! Although there is a improvement since the block test (which I got a U for it!), I don't think it is sufficient enough to cover up the horrible result I got! I am completely stressed!!! HOW I AM SUPPOSE TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS!!! I seriously hate myself!!! I simply just cant have the self control to sit down and study. There will always be distractions or either I will fall alsleep!! (sadly coffee dosen't help much). Sometimes, I wish that I could turn into nerdious ppl who only studys!! Nerdious life is boring but seriously nth is more imp't than getting promoted! Haiz... sometimes I wonder why on Earth am i studying! I don't seem to find much purpose in that, most probably is to earn more money in future or maybe it's beacause I havent found anything that interest me and studying is the "safest route". No, no no I think it's more beacause of the pressure from like families, society and stuff like that. ( Ha, I have gone mad!!! I have no idea what I am talking!). Haiz.... in the end, there's still no other options left for me but only studying! From now onwards, I will work hard and get straight As! If I am no promoted I am so going to jump off the building! ha.
