Damien house

On sat, 22/12/2007, went Damien house to celebrate christmas. (erm.. we were celebrating christmas right??) anyways, it's quite cool. ha. it's the first time i celebrated christmas with friends. So it's like quite interesting.I shall first talk about the food. There got curry(by jia hao. wait no, is jia hao's mother. If jia hao's confirm gurantee plus chop die), turkey(is that turkey??), 3 PLY SANDWICH, Agar agar(by shamine. healthy agar =) ), tang yuan (by chai su wi. Luckily i still alive after eating. ha actually it dosent taste that bad la) ,marshmallow thing with oreo and cookie(by yan shan and ang serli. It's so cool!!) and then got CHEESE CAKE (by avon.
Why the hack is it cheese!!! so bad for health. ha). After eating played pepsi cola( so fun!!), murderer and another version similar to polar bear one and some stupid choosing number game where the number represents the amt of things you have to say abt urself. The choosing number thing dam funny. Ppl end up say about crap stuff like, I stay in s'pore, I'm a s'porean. ha. Lucky i chose number 3!!! Then after that we departed from the function room to Damien's house to stay over but sadly lynette cant. . Then we gift exchanged! ha and Ang serli 2 times also get my ferror rochea(OMG how the hack u spell it). And i got photo album from shamine!!! the photos are so cool!!!
Ang ser li is dam unlucky la. no erm shld say she's very very lucky. Her hand got shit from the guinea pig!!! so super funny!!!! Then don know do wad in Damien's room then talk talk. Then we talk until almost 6 am. And only left 4 survivors, Damien, Jia hao, Suwi and me!!(The other time in China also is left Damien, Suwi and me! dont know why this time got jia hao most of the tim he died first and snores randomly one. ha) Then i slept only awhile. When I just slept. I got this wierd dream that I am all alone in this dark place. Then got two people. One squatting in front of fence then another standing. It was still dark. Then out of sudden the squatting one said there's shadow!! there's sun!!! there's hope!! I don't know why I dream of such wierd stuff. But it looks so freaky like end of world or sth. Then I faster open eyes and wake up. Actually this kind of dream happened quite a few times already. And sometimes after I fall asleep again got freaky dream again( cant rmb content. but it's freaky!!). Then sometimes ended up thinking about how short time I have in this world. I am going to die soon. Then it's so scary thinking of dying soon. I will be like filled with fear that I cant sleep and have to do something else to divert my attention. sometimes, because of that never sleep. I have no idea why all this is happening!!! In the past it happened like once or twice. But recently it kind of happen more frequently. O my wrong topic le. Back to Damien's house. They slept like pigs!!! I woke up at about 9! And if I'm not wrong Avon let very early. And I rotted for almost 3 hours!!! Entertained myself with psp but it died! They are so reatrded!!! The purpose of sleeping late is to sleep less la!! Then they sleep until 12 then wad's the point of sleeping late. Aiyo!!!!!

I had wanted to blog about my new discovery but was too lazy to. Ths discovery was completely shocking and at the same time it's funny!!!

I found wierd things in mini toons!!!! actually it's not exactly wierd. it's kind of interesting too. anyways i am still completely shocked!! is so OMG!!!!

EPISODE 3

Day 8

Went to tai shan on that day. Tai Shan is like the nicest place among the rest. The wind there is dam shiok la!!! Is like you can feel yourself been pushed by the wind. But a bit cold!!! That day was also a horrible day. If I remember correctly I dropped Chai Su Wi's phone. I feel so horrible after dropping it. I tried to catch it but it still dropped. So sry Chai Su Wi. I am glad that she is forgiving enough!! erm....Chai Su Wi you are forgiving one right??!!! ha.

Day 9

It's Johnny Kong's day!!! ha. On that day every place we went to is like about johnny kong!!! Erm... nth much interesting to tok about. O ya I want tok about some spastic people who laugh over the name Johnny Kong. His name very funny meh??!!! ha. Then erm... got the lecture about Johnny Kong!! OMG!!! the thing was like so boring!!! I open my eyes until so tired and ended up writing my journal to stay awake!!! O ya and hor near the hotel there like 24/7 got play the nian jing thing la. Is like during the leture keep hearing the chanting!! And hor I don know where to put this part and I forgot is which day one so I shall just sai it here!!! The hotel got banner for RJC!!!! we don't have. sobz sobz...

OMG!!! Saw this at some kong zhi place! ELECTRIC VIBRATOR!!!! The name of it seriously going lead to misconception. It's not what u think it is. It's just a hairdryer( I think)

Erm... cant really see anything. But then got this family tree of the Kongs drawn on it. It's like super faint and super small. I was amazed at how they were able to carve so smally on the stone!

This is a wishing stone thing. If I am not wrong is at Kong Zhi place one.

1st step: close eyes then go round the thing don noe how many times and must touch touch the stone.

2nd step: walk towards that tree with eyes still closed!!

3rd step: Reach the finishing point!!!!!

Episode 3 has come to an end because the scriptwriter haven write!! (my journal only wrote until day 9. ha. And that's why Time is needed for me to recall what happen from the 10th day onwards. ha) Episode 4 will be out soon after the scripwriter has the inspiration to continue the story!

Day 6- 7:


After seeing how people live in the acceptable standard of living, it's time to look at how other live in poorer standard of living. It's my first time actually witnessing people living in poorer standard of living with my very own eyes. It is a realy good experience. One thing that shocked me one I reach there was they got banners for us!!!!!! SOooo cool!!!! I wasn't expecting any at all. Another thing was there ask us sign on the banners. Ha it's sOOoo cool la!!! I feel so honoured to do so. haha.




The kids there are really like simple minded. They don't expect much and is very easily contented, not like that of singapore kids. There were like happy when we gave then stationary. If it was S'pore kids I doubt they will have any emotion if we give them stationary. I guess that is just because of the difference in the standard of living. When you live in an environment with a higher standard of living, inevitably, u would have the tendency to expect higher. But sometimes, it is good not to have such high expectations. Through this trip to xi wang xiao xue, I have learnt to appreciate what I have.( OMG!!!! why does it sounds like my report!!!! MUST STOP LE!!!!!)

There is something I must tok about. IT'S THE TOILET!!!! Even though I never step into the toilet, I can imagine the smell and the look of it. If I am not wrong, I heard people saying got flies and no flush ( hmm... did i remember the correct things???) Anyways there was like something I heard that shocked me is did those kids wash their hands after toilet???!!! What I heard was that they go inside toilet da bian then hor no water no toilet paper, then they just come out like that.


Actually, they don't look exactly poor like those no clothes wear one. Thay look perfectly normal. But hor, by seeing how black their hands are and some got farm smell, I can kind of imagine the life they live in.


We taught like English there and teach those older kids how to play uno. Ha they looked so happy when playin uno. I discovered a secret they are SADIST ha. They are so happy that their opponents have to draw more cards. ha. (ok abit lame).
After going xi wang xiao xue, I think I have more patience. I was able to actually sit beside them and guide them in learning eng!!! ( Actually no kicks la, I knew I had the talent long ago)

O ya I discovered a new game they play. It's called erm ai yo I forgot le. It's like they have to split into girls and boys. Then they will hold hands form a chain. Then one person from ones side will lang ga into the other side. Then if the person cannot break through the chain then the person is "captured" by the other team. Then the team will try to break though and save the teamate. But they always play cheat la. Purposedly let go the person got captured purposely let go the hands so can be freed and return back to team. ha. (I don't think my explanation is understandable. But I understand can liao. ha)

The kids there very hyper active la. They go around hitting people one. ha. And hor they keep want fei ji!!! I tried carrying one girl, I was so shocked that she was so heavy and yet she dosen't look fat. My cousins of similar age to them are so super light.

For the 2 days there, we had been eating the same thing. Although it's nothing much, but then they cooked for us so must appreciate it. And hor I eat so much tofu!!







Overall, the trip to xi wang xiao xue is really fun and really a good experience.The kids are interesting and adorable.

Charcoal outing

Today was fun yet tiring and also fustrating. The charcoals (without jia hao) had gathered to go kboxing!!!! I am soOOOo super happy finally can kbox!!! The K box cheated my feelings. We paid for the k student thing which we tot is like student price and end at the normal time. BUT in the end is actually until 530 only. So irritating shld have paid the normal one which is only like a few dollars more!!! Luckily we are smart to drag until like erm i don noe how long more but i think got at least an hour. The most funny thing is that we dragged the time and then the person come in again to tell us time up and then in the end we us her take photos for us. so funny la. Then hor don noe hu suggested say got card lost so we nid find for it. And taking that as an excuse to stay longer inside. Dam retarded la. Thens, go take neoprints. SOOOOO BAD FOR HEALTH la!!!! Then went for dinner and wasted alot of time finding a place to eat dinner. and some more got ppl pentium 2 lag like shit and then eat until very the late. Then hor go to the merlion thing near esplanade. And hor because of pentium 2 ppl then become later and then ended up like leave the place at 1130!! Here comes the fustrating part!! got no taxi!!!!!! so irritating wait until can die. like bout half hour almost all gone and left yan yan shan shan and me. The taxi drivers dam irritating la green light leh no on call leh still don wan stop la!!! so baka!!! purposely wait for midnight charge one. In the end about 11 30 got cab and yan yan shan shan went home. and I waited ALL ALONE at the bus stop for my parents come. And they come so late la around 1150 then come. haiz... shld have caled them earlier to fetch me.

Shandong part1

1 Dec was the day I finally step onto the shores of Singapore AGAIN! The journey I had been through was unimaginably cold and tiring. Despite, the sufferings I had been through on the strange land, China, there was still fun, laughter and joy! Now I shall begin my story on my journey in China:[ this is only part 1 cause story too long, pls read patiently :) ]


DAy 1 & intro:

On 16/11 I left S'pore at 0015. The stupid plane retaded CANNOT SLEEP!!! Then when reach China the stupid connector part is like soooooooo freaking cold!!!! Then hor go to the hotel(jiao shi zhi jia). The hotel was suprising ok, but the room abit got crack. But got ai qing mo fa shi watch so it's ok. But then the heater there lik SOOO powderful la!!! Bath liao like so not cold!! I wasn't shivering!!! Seriously not!!!! Talking about bathing. This huen yan shan is dam funny la. Every single time she bath finish. She will come out shouting: so cold so cold and then she will jump into the bed and cover herself with blanket.


The weather there is so shiok la! The first few days there was terrible la. I zip up everything lor and then wear gloves and scarf and I was still feeling cold la!!! So horrible. I was still wondering how I am going to last for 14 days. But after a few days, I kind of adapted to the weather. Then not so bad le. Then the weather like aircon and i don nid gloves and scarf!!!

Then went walk walk. So cold!!!! my hand was like freezing!! Then got some siao ppl still go eat ice cream.


Day 2:

Today went to 趵突泉，千彿山. I cant really remember the places I went and wad's there. ha. but then the 大明湖 is the place I can remember the best la cos they pei zhao there. And jia hao is so gay he wear the huang di clothes but he still looks like tai jian. haha. And hor the costumes not abit the for show only. In front looks like wear normal costumes but actually is cannot zip properly they use clip. is like just wrapping a cloth over. Dam funny la! ( pictures coming soon) [OMG!!! I cant remember wad pic is wad place one!!]

Today's food gave me a shock!! there's like so much food la!!! Then everday like so much food!!! And the food wont cos kidney failure at all seriously wont. Their salt like FOC one. The 1st place we eat at got alot dumpling. so scary. Then the small fries prawn thing quite nice but then ver bad for health. In the end got a lot of leftover. so waste food. haiz.

Day3- Day 4:

The sian days started!! It's time to go school!! We went to 实验中学的本校. When go in school got our banner!!! so cool! First day got music lesson, pottery lesson and geog. The music lesson quite cool la. Maybe cos I never really attended music lesson except in primary school that's why I find it interesting! But then is seriously interesting. The music they play not a bit the loud la. But then is also ok la cos like that got more atmosphere. (OMY I GOT SHAMINE DISEASE!!!) The pottery lesson is dam cool la. I think is like a lesson made specially for us cos no China students only got us. Although I was once in Art club but then the pottery I make before is not abit the manual. This is more automatic. So fun la. And I MADE A BOWL!!! Is super nice lor! Then hor the geog lesson not abit the boring at all. I don't understand a single thing and I hate geog and is taught in chinese. How is it possible not to sleep. I controlled myself so hard not to sleep but then my efforts couldn't last. I slept a bit only. really abit!! The lunch we had was in school. We got buffet! The food ok la. The pumpkin thing with corn is super nice. Then hor got welcome ceremony. And our performance is abit the last minute lor. And I think they cant even here what we were singing. The most significant thing that happen during the welcome ceremony thing was astro boy( can't remember his name). They went mad after seeing him. so horrible. And this kit may. haha dam funny la. She like fell in love with him. Then hor went eat dinner at some restaurant with the shi yan teachers and principle. The food is like so much until eat and don't eat have no diff. Then the teahers all went mad, drink too much until siao le!!! The shi yan teacher( forgot his name) dam funny la!! keep making us coountdown to 10 to make Ang shuang yun drink. When eating keep laughing la! After today, it was not that boring afterall.
Then the second day woke up early. but if I am not wrong we were late again! For thewhole entire trip the teachers keep remembering 102 for being late. Cos we almost everything oso late. haiz.. I am so hurt la I am always punctual one lor. Then today got eng, chi, pe, opera and history. The eng lesson is totally diff from that of S'pore. In S'pore the context is rather wide is like from anywere. but there they had a textbook to follow, abit like the chinese in s'pore. The chi lesson was interesting. When the teacher was reciting the passage it was so amazing la. She read until alot emotion then quite nice. The students there also amazed me!! They were all very attentive no one slept. Then when they ans question is supe detailed ans and they don't ans for the sake of answering. Then is like any1 called to ans question can ans one lor. so scary. O ya forgot to mention one thing. When we were attending the first lesson sth shocked me was when the randomly shouted qi li and then I faster standed up. ha. Pe played ping pong. At least is indoor so not that bad. Then after that eat buffet lunch in sch again. Then got tok with those ppl from the english club. The English is not bad. During free time, Me, Avon, Sherman and Gabriel went play basketball with the China people. So horrible la they so tall and so pro. haiz...

Went to 实验中学的东校. I am so happy I met my buddy, Du Jing there. At there learnt alot of new things like 中国结， 剪纸 and 书法. the China knot come out le so sad and I don noe how make back!! anyways today learnt alot thing. then very happy! o ya got play tennis oso!!! but then cos played with noobs la so not exactly very fun. haha. Then lunch got banana!! I am so happy!!! And hor the school got bird!! O ya then hor near evening got this fashion design thing. I think is quite shock that those are designed by students and modelled by students.
